We are proud to welcome you to Thomas Becket VI Form, Northamptonshire's only Catholic Sixth Form. 

It is a really exciting time to join Thomas Becket VI Form, with our new ‘Pathways to Success’ that have been designed to ensure that whatever dreams or aspirations our student have for their future they are supported.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum to enable individual passions, skills and talents to be fulfilled. We recognise that there isn’t a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to this and as such we use our expertise, experience, and know-how to help get our students to where they want to be.

'The teachers at Thomas Becket VI form have gone above and beyond to equip us with valuable skills necessary for life after VI form. They have encouraged and supported many learning opportunities such as work experience and community day to aid our future aspirations’ (Year 13 student)

What we can offer in terms of academic progression as well as opportunities ‘above and beyond’ the classroom is integral to the development of our students. The expectations we have of all our students is that they will work hard, be ambitious and engage with all the opportunities that are on offer. We encourage and motivate students to pursue academic excellence whilst also acknowledging that VI Form is not just about academia but about developing the whole person, and I am incredibly proud of the students who leave us as curious, confident, independent young people who can take their place as valuable members of society.

Our VI Form students are role models within the wider school community and as such there are greater levels of responsibility but also more opportunities to be integral in shaping the future of Thomas Becket Catholic School and leaving their legacy.
