Appeal for donations to help those locally in need
Everyone needs hope!
During Advent, we would like everyone at our Catholic Primary Schools, to be involve in ‘giving hope’ to those who are homeless, hungry, needing support, or have fallen on hard times for whatever reason. There is no better preparation for Christmas than helping those in our own community who are in need!
When can we give?
At the beginning of Advent
Monday 29th November 2021
What can we give?
Toiletries (e.g. a toothbrush and toothpaste)
Chocolate or sweets (wrapped)
Small games (e.g. cards/dominoes)
Creative (pens, paints, notepad, drawing paper)
To wear (hat, scarf, gloves, socks)
How can we give?
Please send any one or all of the above items that you are able to spare into school with your child, during the first week of Advent. The items can be for men, women and children. They should not be wrapped as they will be checked for suitability back at the Hope Centre.
The items will be collected into categories and then transported to the Hope Centre by the Thomas Becket Minibuses before the end of term.
Your generosity will help many individuals and families around Northampton to know that there is always hope and that they live in a caring community.
